1. Establishment:
AL SARD Trading Agencies is, as a part of HALABJA Group, established in 1992, as a
division in it's early stages. AL-SARD handled export and import of consumer
electronics and home appliances.
Owing to its extensive volume of importing and exporting activities, HALABJA group
board decided to promote it to separate Company so as to be able to meet the great
demands of IRAQI market. Therefore an independent capital amounted to 5 million US
Dollars has been dedicated for this new Company and registered under the name of
ALSARD TRADING AGENCIES. "
The Company could achieve in a very short span of time remarkable achievements in this
field and could get the temporary distribution-ship of SAMSUNG brand in Iraq and longterm
exclusive agency for KONKA brand in three main territories in the Middle East
namely Iran, Iraq, and UAE.
Despite of these two brands, ALSARD dealt and still dealing with other brands like LG,
Sony, HITACHI, PANASONIC, KELON, KERONA, SONYA, etc... As a sole agent for
KONKA consumer electronic and home appliances, ALSARD could achieve excellent
sales targets in 2003. As far as concerned with KONKA cell phones, ALSARD could get
the sole agency in 2003 for Middle East, African countries, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and
Turkey.
To provide perfect services for customers, ALSARD relays on superior quality of
imported products, sound reputation and perfect after sales services. This strategy helped
obviously in stable constant sales increase in market share especially in Iraq.
